And then there were more...Quotes that is...

Tony Dungy (Coach of the 2007 Super Bowl winning Colts, NBC Analyst):

"Stubbornness is a virtue...if you're right."

"Do not mistake hours for productivity."

"Why would you let anyone stop you from doing what you love?"

"I am a firm believer that the Lord sometimes has to short circuit even our best plans for our benefit."

Adam Hamilton (Founder and Senior Pastor, The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection):
***this was a very powerful, very honest message that hit you right between the eyes. There was no weaseling out of this one as if we had it all under control, Adam didn't leave room for that when he dealt head-on with the uncomfortable topic of sexual sin and why so many christians fall because of it. There was way too much depth here to cover in a few quotes, but here are Adam's 5 keys to resisting temptations. If we could burn these into our brain and have them as a safeguard, we'd be in a much better position for handling this sin when it rears its head...and it will. As Adam reminded us, "No one is immune to sexual sin...but none of us are beyond redemption..."
Resisting Temptation:
1. Remember who you are
2. Recognize the consequences of your actions
3. Rededicate yourself to Christ
4. Reveal struggle to a trusted friend
5. Remove yourself from the situation (no matter how hard and inconvenient it might seem)
